Thanks.... This tractor does have the 12 ga starting too. The exhaust is a resonator to try to lower the sound pressure level. It does sound very different. And yes Fowler and Marshall were part of the same manufacturing group in the 40s and 50s. I imported this tractor from Australia to Wisconsin and rebuilt the engine.
