Texas golf course made the news a few years back- the pro shop got a firearms dealers license to sell the .410 snake charmer(?)-a bullpup styled single barrel shotgun based on H&R design- and some other guns needed on golf course. ATF came to inspect and agent got scared by rattlesnake close to first hole tee off area. Golf bags had extra compartment for snake medicine shotguns- Rossi 20 inch barrel model also popular. Local rules had some free extra stokes if golfer had to shoot snake during putting. Area had some kind of weather situation that led to bunch of rodents on golf course and neighboring areas, rattlesnakes were following rodents for lunch. Basic golf game idea is what? Escape from wives? Scottish excuse to carry war club to harras English? Anybody have a logical explanation? RN
