We were (and maybe still are) subsidizing the oil industry through tax breaks, while they were showing billions of dollars of quarterly profit, and fuel prices were sky high. I wonder if we gave them more tax breaks, would the fuel prices go down? Maybe if we gave them ALL of our money, they would give us free fuel? ? ?
I want them to make a profit, but how much is enough?
