what i find odd is that the cars are accellerating to full throttle position, and the operator has no control to idle the engine back down. i dont think that many people are doing full throttle accelerations and causing the throttle to stick to the floor. i think the throttle is a fly by wire, where the pedal is connected to a module like a cruise control type and that module controls throttle position. next toyota i get in the shop, i"ll have top look at the throttle configuration and see how its hooked up. never paid much attention to it.
