That was an easy fix with my old CRT monitor but I don't know about the viewing adjustment on a flat panel or flat screen monitor.
Do yourself a favor, the next time you get a new monitor buy one with a larger screen size. It is rare that I have any side to side scrolling with my 19 inch one. It has such a great picture that I will go even larger next time since it is so enjoyable to watch streaming Netflix movies via it. Easier on tired old eyes too.
