Johnny, What we got here is a sign of the times. People with little country acreages, that need to open a driveway, mow with a belly mower, maybe clean up after a couple of horses. Just check the prices of a new little John Deere, Kubota, etc. and tack on the price of a little loader blade, etc. Pretty much explains why anyone would pay 7k for the little old dudes. Check the price of a Ford Jubilee! With correct equipment! Same thing, and the little ones around here are scarce because nobody used to consider them a (real) tractor. They couldn't pull a loaded wagon, especially in hills. Barely powerful enough for a long elevator, on the belt. Or a hammer mill corn cruncher. Besides the wives think they're cute, and they can be trailered behind a regular pickup, and fit inside a suburban garage. John, PS give me an IHC M anyday though.
