BFO, I never said the tractor in the picture was the one i used to Rotovate with. It isn't!! I bought both my Agco's new, did you buy your deere new??? If so When?? At the time i bought my tractor new, JD wanted a lot more for their tractor than i paid for my Agco!! You are the second guy i've met with a John Deere that told me you need at least 55HP to run a small Howard. Maybe if you green guys get the knot out of your green undies, you'll find out that there's other colors of tractors out there that do the same job for less $$, and maybe even do it a little better!! Don't bet on that lower cost of ownership either. The air cooled tractor i replaced with my Agco had 6,800 hours on it, and i sold it for more than i had in it "includeing" all the oil, filters and the few small repairs it had cost me all the years i had it. (i never kept track of the fuel usage) And that's all i have to say about this, :~) Robert
