I know of the Swinger loader you talk about it is articular steering,and that is a good one to put a post hole driller on! as you said turn a little and one can guid it over a little or not instead of backing up and all that...
I presently have a "Ramrod" it is a skid steer 4 wheel drive "stand on only" small compact unit, powered by a two cylinder Briggs, V-twin horziontal shaft engine with electric start and I made a post hole drill from a small Char Lynn hydraulic motor,very small hard to believe it drills 12 inch diameter holes 4 foot deep, any deeper and I need the home made "extension" that I made out of Black pipe but of course the deeper one goes the tuffer it is!
Anyway I am now building it to use a bigger hydraulic motor, I luv working with steel when building projects!
