I didn't read all the posts so this has probably been stated before, but why do we even have vending machines in school? When I went to school 40-50 years ago there were no vending machines. NONE, and we did just fine. There was no breakfast program. We did have a hot lunch at noon that some of the spoiled kids complained about, but it was pretty good overall. This was a small town Iowa school.
I do realize the world we live in today is different than it was back then. Marilyn worked at a large day care for 20 years and saw the hungry kids raised by drugged out parents, but vending machines won't do them any good.Jim

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
