the hardner is toxic and an air supplied hood is reccomended, i have one but dont wear it , if you paint in a WELL ventelated area or outside and wear a good paint mask like a 3-m you should be okay.i put hardner in everything including primer, it at least doubles the life of the paint, and makes it more chemical restisant.if you smell paint while spraying stop and refit your mask.
