Found a stolen Oldsmbile in my garden one morning... My Grandfather bought the place where I live in 1914. He started picking up a few Indian stone axes as he worked the fields, but only farmed the place for about 10 years. My Dad moved there in 1939, and picked up stone axe heads, arrow heads, spear points, etc. I suppose he accumulated closed to 100 all together. I found a few myself. Also, lots of horseshoes, harness metal, pieces of chain, a few tools, etc. Add to that a couple of kites, and the cover for our gas grill. My dad was running a flail chopper in some weeds next to a rental house on the other side of the farm one day, and wound up a set of bedsprings in the machine. He wasn't very happy about that....
