My partner and I have worked 3rd shift for 8 yrs at a large plant. We start at 11 pm. One night in the summer my partner stops at a local gas/party store to get snack as usual on the way in. A woman in a car at a pump was having a medical issue and an ambulance and two cops came. It was clear it was not life threatening and the matter was calming down. The one cop had my coworker blocked and he needed to get to work. He politely asked the cop if he could let him out. "Why? so you can get back to the bar?!! he screamed "You gotta hot date with your girlfriend?!!" No my coworker said, I need to get to work" OH sure you do". Finally the more senior cop came over to see what the screaming was about. My coworker said he just wanted to get to work. The mouthy cop said "Yeah he's got to get back to the bar!" No he said I was on my way to work but "officer attitude, won't let me out". Junior cop threatened to arrest him but didn't. The point is the cops have every opportunity to make it a bad day or a good one. Some are just a$$holes. Heck, in the large plant where I work, the private security guards go out at 2 am in their security trucks and drive city streets looking for drunks and follow them while phoning the cops. Last year they had a guy arrested for drunk walking on the city sidewalk. Hows that for nice. The guy chose the right thing and walked and these gung ho rent a cops got him busted. sorry for the vent

For very little money, this piece of equipment promises to plow and flatten any hill or vale on your ranch road or farm. At least that's what I thought! As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
