About 30 minutes ago I 'removed' a possum from my back porch. I opted for the 22 semi-auto in lieu of my 410. I have no visible damage to the picnic bench as a result of the removal process. The 410 would definitely have pot marked the top of the bench.
I grew up in the boonies.Go out on the porch and shoot in your underwear,,etc. Loved groundhog. FF a few years and I was stationed at Ft Leonard Wood, MO living in the housing area on the end of a section next to a big ditch and field. I'd set in my bedroom and pop groundhogs from the window with my 22 using shorts. Noone heard it and I always ate groundhog.
