Boy, they have been running this area/valley hard lately, howling during mid-day, at night, usually they come and go, not sure what is up with that but anyone else see this kind of behavior ? The daytime thing sure is odd.
Well, theres is 1 less, trusty springfield m1a and reg mil ball ammo, 100+ yards, kind of my all purpose rifle, one of my favorites, though a little overkill for one of these, of what I have it is what I shoot best, even the ruger ranch in .223. Have not fired a shot since deer season, sat down next to a post, rested up, bullseye.
Still bugs me to kill something I won't eat, but he was missing all the fur on his tail, scratchin like heck and chewing on some deer legs, be it disease, mange or what, he'd been in a few fights, ear missing a piece, figured dispatching him might save the neighbors dog/cat someone having a confrontation with a rabid one.
