Brockway, 49G, I was in reverse, and hit a stump with the blade, causing the tractor to come to a sudden stop. Now, when I put it in gear, let out the clutch, it will not move. BUT, when I lightly step on the right brake, it will grab enough to drive the tractor, NOT the left brake, only the right brake. I know this must sound strange, but its true. Thats how I got the tractor back to the barn. Does this mean I have broken an axle, or drive gear? or, because it will travel with light pressure on the right brake, have I just knocked something out of wack?? I have no manuals on this Brockway, and have never opened up the transmission / axel drive on a farm tractor. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks PS PTO will still engage and run.
