ya pretty sad. from what i have noticed mostly the tractor dealers tryin to make a quick buck.my first hand experience on an example. W4 was advertised for 500.00. i told the owner to get me the serial # and i will call back. next day i call him and he gives me the #, i find out it is a super w4 and he says i think its sold. i said WHAT: i was the first to call you!i offered him double his asking price and he said , this guy might buy 2 tractors and i dont want to loose the deal. i told him i think the other guy is a tractor dealer. long story short is this same super w4 was advertised for 2750.00 a few weeks later with the low serial # the original owner gave me.i have seen this happen a lot of times. its just a salesman preying on the everyday person for easy money.they know what equipment is worth and how mush they can sell it for and only care to make the dollar in the end.
