Take a look at the JD Dubuque and Mannheim trans pump specs. They are 7-8gpm gross and the front pump only receives the net flow after the trans/pto lubrication and clutches are supplied. Not enough to continuous supply a 13-20gpm front pump. The front pump relies the couple of gallons of oil in the tank and cooler for brief high flow loads. For continuous high flow hydraulic loads. Mother Deere lists the ported filter cover in the parts book for every closed center 10,20.30,40,55 series Waterloo, Dubuque and Mannheim tractor made. The Waterloo tractors do have a higher flow trans pump and a better return from the scv’s. And can work fine with same sized front pump flow. That a Dubuque/Mannheim cavitates without a ported filter cover. I can't imagine why anybody would tie up scv's with a loader etc. So they can't be used with another hydrualic load.A "T" for the high pressure line is not expensive. It does require a little imagination and that is a comodity often in short supply.
