I can see not having Mad Max front bumpers but in most states you will be cited for unassured clear distance if you rearend someone. So you've gotta love those hitch bumpers. I've been hit broadside by someone running a stop sign in a 4-way after I stopped, he didn't, rearended twice both by young teenage girls gauking at some boys playing baseball. The stop sign guy had insurance the two teenage girls had none and less than a year of driving experience. The no insurance law is a joke and when I asked the cop about that rule he said they just lose their license until they're 18 even if it is a minor violation but still get work driving privileges, the parents are liable but he said good luck with that. We have a good ole country boy in our plant with a rough but solid 84 Chevy 4by with mudder tires and a P&H bumper got rearended by a wannabe sista driving her wannabe boy friends Monte Carlo while she was on the cell phone. It picked his truck up off the road but didn't hurt a thing just left some paint on the bumper but totaled the Monte front end, she was crying about her suspened license so he helped her get the car off the road and took her home. Wannabe boyfriend tries to get country boy sighted for bumper too high turns out it was 1" under the rule so he was good. So turns out bumper height is the issue.
