You must live a much warmer region then here in central New York. I grow Bodacious every year, but it's always the 2nd or 3rd variety I plant since it rots pretty easy in cold-damp soil. Anytime I've planted Bodacious at soil temps below 60F, it rotted and was wasted.
I just planted Seneca Arrowhead- a 65 day corn that is most cold-resistant sweet corn I've ever used. It's going to be a least 2 weeks and maybe 3 before any Bodacious goes in here in central New York.
We had temps of almost 80 degrees F here for a week. Then it snowed last night and it's around 35F right now. Soils going to be awhile yet here before it gets warm.
