Already posted this on "case" forum, but here goes here as wellOk, have an 870 case. It had a loader on it, just took it off this past wekend and put the planter on the tractor. The loader was able to lift 1000#+ bales up high no issues and if you left it up and shut down the ractor the loader didnt drop. Those were dual acting cylinders. Ok, so I connect 8 row JD 7000 planter, which has single acting cylinders for markers and lift. I can get the tractor to lift the planter, but as soon as I let the hyd lever go back to center position(home) the planter drops again. I havent tried the markers yet. Also, For some reason if I hook the single hose up to one of the sets of outlets, it doesnt lift or anything, I hook up to the other side outlets and I can only get it to lift when I move that lever forward, but if I swap outlets, it still doesnt lift when I pull the same lever back. Really frustrating me, the hydraulics all worked fine when I havde the loader on. The loader was all hooked up to the outlets so all I did was take them out like any other hyd hoses. Any knowledge on this out there?
