Well if you know how to open it up and do a little soldering you can add a wire for an out door antenna which will fix your problem. If you want to stay real cheap on an antenna just take a piece of flat TV wire cut it off at 5 foot and hook the wires together on the ends and cut one in the center and hook that up for an antenna. Being an Ex-navy E.T does come in handy for a few things Lol
