While your in there checking the things Stan talks about, you might check if the needle has a soft Viton tip. Several times I have had a flood over condition in a carb that appeared perfect,found an almost invisible bit of grit or metal stuck in the soft tip. Seems to work to rub the tip across your pants leg several times in all directions to pull out any grit.
