DH, It is a different world here in Central Texas. Least of which is The Centro-Plex Area! Copperus Cove, Killeen, Harker Heights, Nolanville, and last but not least Belton/Temple. Ft Hood just had another 40,000 troops brought in. after 4th-I.D. just got reasigned to Fr Carson, Colo. They left Ft. Hood on another tour in the Sand. they will return to their new Home in Colo. Killeen has doubled to tripled in size, Walmarts, Home Depot, Lowes. and every kind of resturant under the sun, and yet still more used car dealerships. Beer can be bought in the grocery stores too. Same with Belton/Temple. The smaller more rural areas have seen its fair share of growth old ranches broke up into 2 to 10 acre ranchetts and dogs have become a problem to some extent, but in most areas the 3 S are practiced still. Yes this area has grown but what area hasen't? Hope this helps. Later, John A.
