Help, I need a tractor I don't have to work on every time I use it. I enjoy old tractors and own a couple, but I am trying to build a parttime business doing brush-hog and boxblade work. I have looked JD, NH, Massey, Kubota, etc, but I just can't afford those kinds of prices. We have a dealer selling Mahindra tractors (IH copies) and a dealer selling Tafe (massey copies). The Tafe is a couple of hundred dollars less ($9800). Both tractors are comparable in size and options. We used to have a MF 175, and it was great. Has anyone out there had any bad or good experiences with either tractor? I need to buy something in the next couple of weeks. I know lots of the Tafe tractors have been sold in this area, but I don't see used selling in the local want ads or auctions. I guess people are keeping them or too ashamed to sell them. Thanks.
