These people on this forum are mostly going to drive you crazy with their answers. They dont see beyond their nose most of them anyway. For one thing there have always been migrant workers.I dont know what the deal on migrant workers was,but they came up here and worked then went back. What happens now is they come up here and dont leave because the government has made it too cozy for them to leave.
Americans wont work for what these people are paid, and its just that simple. If 20 people lived in a 2 room apartment and ate only hot dogs maybe you could find Americans to work for what they do,but most Americans dont want to live like that.
People on this forum think that they are allowed to do things that most everybody else knows is wrong.Like pay less wages or work them all the time with no overtime,or just mistreat them because they are illegals. What needs to happen is that the ones who hire illegals get some prison time for hiring them and especially if they pay them lower wages and this will go away.
With all the crap they have to go through to get in legally, there is no wonder they just cross the border and come illegally. You cant blame the Mexicans really, but you can for sure blame the Americans who hire them. Its so bad that companies using illegal laborers have cut rates on people who use American labor because they pay the Mexicans crap wages and underbid the Americans. If Mexico wasnt so bad we wouldnt have this problem. We should have a war with Mexico. They surely couldnt put up much of a fight.
We also could just take over Mexico and make them a territory or something and make them learn English in school. This crap will keep going on as long as crooks can get away with it and Mexico is a corrupt third world country.
Whenever you read what most of these people post on this board, its because they dont care about what it does to the rest of us as long as they can get their cheap labor they will even learn Spanish to get more of it.
While some may pay good,I bet its way more who pay less than minimum wage, otherwise they wouldnt care who they hired. If you will hire somebody for minimum wage, and you can hire somebody who speaks English, why would you hire somebody you cant talk to?
Yeah Mexicans work hard, but you would too if you were illegal. After they are up here for a while they get just like the rest of the people, maybe worse. They arent any better than Americans,or any other group of people, the attraction for the crooks is they work cheap.Thats all they ever wanted was people they could get away with screwing over and the Mexicans fit right in for that.If Mexico didnt suck they wouldnt even be here.

Today's Featured Article - An Old-Time Tractor Demonstration - by Kim Pratt. Sam was born in rural Kansas in 1926. His dad was a hard-working farmer and the children worked hard everyday to help ends meet. In the rural area he grew up in, the highlight of the week was Saturday when many people took a break from their work to go to town. It was on one such Saturday in the early 1940's when Sam was 16 years old that he ended up in Dennison, Kansas to watch a demonstration of a new tractor being put on by a local dealer. It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership, ... [Read Article]
