Honestly, You will be better off getting some used manufactured fenders, there's gotta be some for that tractor around in average condition that will be just what you really want and in time you'll be glad you got them--if you care a sideways hoot for your tractor. Galvanized metal has to be etched to make any paint stick on it, you can get muriatic acid to do it, but man, it's gonna be "Mickey Mouse" unless you,ve got someone whose talented, but good, with sheet metal.
