put a radio out in the barn, leave it on an am talk station. the sound of a human voice usally keeps them out. i aint lost a chicken since, another thing an old man up the road used to do (he has passed away) was to pee around his barn, apparntly he thought the smell of human pee would keep the predators at bay. i also cant remember him ever losin a chicken either
