Its easy to get the metal parts in the wrong order or on the wrong side of the insulating washers.I would test untill i narrowed it down.I would remove the dis cap and put one sparkplug hooked to the coil,then with switch on short out the wire that goes to the distributor.It should spark the plug.Just keep working it on down the line till you find whats wrong.
