Oh good grief! The earth was set spinning back at the begining of time, as was the sun. Given enough time they will eventually come grinding to a halt as there isn't any further energy input into the direction of rotation. Of course before that happens the sun will run low on fuel, shrink, compact, and explode. But the rotaion of the earth hasn't a thing to do with your invention.
