my dad as a 1951 "B" John Deere and a 1948 "G" John Deere in the process of being restored I am 13yrs old ,have the two pulling tractors a 1944 "A" John Deere (for open 5000-6500pound)and a 1951 "A" John Deere (for farmers 5500-7000pound)both very hot tractors about $2,000 in the 51 and about $4,000 in the 44.both painted very nicely.brought home a lot of trophys.
