Take the old bearings to your local auto parts store and see if they can match them. Should be easy if there's a number on the old bearings. How were the old bearings lubricated? If they were a sealed bearing and your new ball beaings are sealed they should work fine as I have B&S engines that have ball bearings used as main bearings and they get lubed from the engine oil.
