Helped my cousin farm no-till row crop in Indiana for over ten years. Approx 500 acres with a 1466, 1066, and 886. You cannot get a better value to horsepower tractor than a 1066 or 1466. These tractors are also usually easy to repair. The turbo chargers make them real snappy, as they are old plow tractors. Beware of ones that have had the pump turned up - these engines can spin a rod bearing once in awhile. Souping them up with more fuel will make this happen quicker.
