I recently purchased a 1975 Warner Swasey 1600 LG forklift, 8000 lb lift capacity. I do not have a service manual for it and would like to find one or at the very least, get a photocopy of someone's. I'd also like to be able to exchange photos and repair information with other owners. Please contact me if you are one. Finding a parts source - someone parting out a Warner swasey forklift, would be very helpful too. I've got some small repairs and some restoration work to do on mine. I want to correct some of the small modifications done to mine - battery box, seat, hood latches, steering wheel needs replaced or recast and horn button missing, tilt and side shift cylinders need resealed, I'd like to replace all hydraulic hoses, Some wiring needs to be cleaned up and organized better, Muffler bracket needs fixed, going to make a new muffler to manifold pipe in stainless, probably going to strip a lot of the paint and repaint. I want to get this forklift in good looking, clean, reliable shape. Thanks, Brad

After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
