I apologize in advance if I use the wrong word for things, I'm not especially savvy when it comes to tractor parts, but I will do my best to make myself understood. :)
I have a JD 800 Swather, and the belt on the left side that runs the cutter broke. We got the new belt, but we're having a difficult time figuring out just what all needs to be removed in order to put it on. We were able to get it on the 2 upper wheels, that was easy, but the lower wheel is proving difficult. It attaches to so much, that we just don't know how much to dismantle. We removed the heavy-duty metal bar across the front of it, and have been trying to detach the part that is actually attached to the blade. Ran into the need for some heavier tools, so have paused for the moment. So, anyone actually have a manual for the darn thing, or has done this before than can advise me?
