I am having trouble starting my tractor. I have replaced the solenoid and both battery cables. I was having trouble getting the starter to turn over, but it would crank after a time.
Barring a defective starter, how can I get it to start the simplest way? I replaced the wire from the starter button to the solenoid and also put a jumper between the 2 female connectors for the keyed ignition to rule out a defective ignition switch. If I want to bypass the oil pressure and amp gages, where do I route the yellow wire which comes from the solenoid connection mated to the battery cable feed? Also, are there any other switches which need to be considered?
