If it's not for use in the fields soil compaction is not an issue. A few dollars saved obtaining traction is more than lost due to reduced yields every year. Low hours per year will make little difference in operating costs. It takes fuel to haul the extra weight of ballast across fields. The extra dollars for radial tires is a true traction/fuel efficiency bargain for a machine that has to earn it's keep. Use external cast or concrete weights if required for max traction per lb added. For your application the Calcuim with stainless valve stem valves will do fine if properly installed with new tubes & maintained.
