Eldon, I also have a King Kutter and think that it is a good value for the money. Mine is 7' and is a very good tool. That being said, a few years ago I did rip my KK rake apart at the swivel but I was using it way harder and for things that I shouldn't have. I re-did it with a heavier pipe and now it should stand the abuse. I also corrected a flaw that I didn't like in that swivel joint. It had about 3/4" of up and down movement in that joint and when feathering out dirt etc I always had to get that slack out of there before the rake would lift up.
