Back in the day,when there were lots more 2.2"s on the road,I use to do at least two head gasket jobs on those a week.
As Stuart said,the bolts are torque to yield which means they are designed to stretch.If re-used,you simply will not get the head tight enough and gasket will fail because bolts have already been stretched and weakened.Most bolt sets run only about 25-30 bucks.
Check the head for straighness.No more than .004" over entire length of head.Follow torque specs,sequence and additional 90 degree turn per instructions.
