Was just talking about that with the gals at the FSA office this fornoon. She said the fellas that come in with there crop all gone are in a better mood than those with a 1/3 of a crop left - those fellas don't know what to do.
Drove past one guy, easy choice for him. Got a 30 foot disk out in his (formerly) 220 bu corn field. As far as the eye can see in that spot, no crop left. Read in the paper and I think it's that area - guy has 750 acres to replant by the 4th. Just will have to go around the ponds & lakes - and another storm coming Sunday.....
