Mt Pleasant has shifted away from steam. Still the "main event", but they only have 10 or 15 steamers there. There were probably a good couple hundred or so tractors there last year. Starting to see some old trucks/cars as well. All colors, configurations are there. Odd ball stuff all the way to M's, B's, WC's etc. For sure not just a steam show. You'd want to plan on 2 days for it though. It'd be one long day to drive from Kansas and expect to see it all. Almost forgot the museums. Plenty of tractor stuff there to. Lot of things for women as well. Shopping, crafts, etc. Well worth the trip.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen. It has great power for its size and can really hunker down and lug. Classified as a 3-bottom plow depending on soil conditions.
