What's the make and model? How is the car equipped? What is the car's history? How many miles? Is the car pristine, or does it look well used? How does the dealer have it priced compared to the bluebook? What area of the country are you in? How is your local economy?
There are so many variables involved, it's impossible to give any advice from this distance. If it's a highly popular model, the dealer may have it priced above bluebook. If it's not a popular model, or a mundane model, the dealer may have already put a lowball price on it to get it off the lot.
