That's not a very accurate formula for acres per hour. 80 ft X 8 MPH X 5280 ft = 3,379,200 sq ft divided by sq ft in an acre (43,560) = 77.58 acres per hour or inaccurate by about 14 acres. So in the 10 hour day mentioned you would be short by about 140 acres. That's pretty significant!! The 10 in your formula should be about 8.25 !!
