Several things. First Excide makes Napa and John Batteries, and some of Walmarts. Go by cranking amps and weight. The more lead the better the battery. Second: Like buickandeere said. Re do the battery cables. Get rid of that positive cable with two ends on it or if you still have the original one that hooks under one of the clamp bolt really get rid of it. You need to get two positive cables that will reach the starter solenoid. Then get two cables, not the braded ones John deere sales, and ground them to the starter mounting bolt. Your tractor will crank much better.
