I've tried different things in our fence lines. Alternated spraying a quarter mile or so each with a strong solution of pramitol and 2% & 5% glyphosate and a 5% glyphosate (the 41% stuff) with some tordon rtu added.
Results were pramitol didn't do anything (a waste of a lot of money if you ask me) and I had to overspray with the glysphosate mix. A 2% glyphosate was very slow. The 5% glyphosate was much faster. The 5% with some tordon added was the best.
I've also found that spraying weeds with amine 400 24D wasn't as effective unless I added some tordon.
I can go out to the pasture one day and come back the next and find giant ragweed and elephant leaf plants along with some downy brome over 5' tall. Takes some heavy duty stuff to knock that down.
