Hi Harry, we had nothing but problems with our 800 COM. Couldn't start out smooth, jump, jerk, and stand clear if you was trying to back up. Wouldn't pull if RPM dropped, just come to a stop. Would not start without some juice in a spray can in any weather. We rebuilt the engine, replaced heads with new, replaced all the injectors, had the pump rebuilt and ended up with same problems. We had the jumping and slipping problems checked out and never did get those problems solved. Hydraulics give us fits from the word go. When dad passed mom sold it at auction, the auction helper went to start it and had to give it a snort....it started up then jumped like a mule and took off for the crowd, someone jumped on grabbed the compression release, hit the brakes and clutch. It had a mind of it's own and as i said was nothing but a money pit and a mechanics worst nitemare. I'm also giving you the short version, if it would have been a mule dad would have shot it. LOL Maybe it was a Friday made tractor but it was one that i hated with a passion.
