If you walk when hunting, and it is wet and mud, cold but not frozen, then non insulated rubber calf high boots are great. If you arn't in mud but as above, felt liner style (Sorrels were US made, no longer). but knockoffs are OK.) will do well. If you sit, or if it is frozen, use US Air Force Micky Mouse Boots. These will be the ticket to happy feet. They are 80 to 110 at a Surplus store, but irreplaceable in cold conditions. They are rubber outer, felt insulation, and rubber liner. They are sealed and the felt cannot get wet. Even if you get water in them, you will not get frozen feet, The water will warm up and just be wet. They are incredible. Jim
