Worse yet. What were operator's doing in the past getting them selves and others maimed or crippled? That made some of these safety devices a "requirement"? Most folk should know to look behind when backing up and keep the kids indoors. However after several hundred operators backed over kids running behind lawn tractors. What are you going to do?
