Check the serial number. it's stamped into the frame under the distributor. Usually the first two numbers are the year. Cockshutt serial numbers are listed on the left of this page. The pictured CO-OP is a 1947 later years are more of Pumpkin orange, available from a paint supplier in the midwest. Someone wil chime in with the name. Or you could change the nosestrip to Cockshutt and paint it red.
