If you are poor and need bales come talk to me--you want to steal them? Well everyone owns a drill, and a chunk of old steel...Make drill shavings and put them inside the bales.
If that is over the edge, start the rumor mill that you put poision in some of the bales---small town gossip isn't always bad.
I know of a farmer that had deer hunters taking over his hunting ground. He took a old 12 guage, loaded it, cocked it and put it pointing the gate with a string tied to the trigger. The string was white, and he placed a few branches over the gun--but with a bright white string everyone could see it after they checked out the string. Even with a hangover it got some deer hunters attention.
OH he did take a needle and place water in the powder of the shot gun shell. He found the gun a few times with the hammer forward as someone had let the hammer ahead real slow. A few times he found it with the shell removed. It however makes a bold stament that you are not welcome, and risk being in a court room---but you don't care.
And what good is this unless you act crazy enough to kill someone?
