Theres a collar on the PTO shaft that can move back and make the seal worthless.This happened on my 640.I put in a new 1 3/8 to replace a worn out 1 1/8 shaft.No mention of a leaking pump seal leaking hyd oil into the crankcase.I used 90 ep oil in the differential and 134 in the hydraulic sump.No sign of mixing when I drained the 134 and replaced it with 90 GL1.Got tired of losing lift power in warm weather with the 134,noticed that the carry all stayed up all day with a full load of cornstalks.It would have dropped to the ground in a hour with 134.There was no sign of water contamination in the drained 134. too much wrong info on these forums latley.
